What is the WOTW Audio CD?
This CD (CD-R) contains the hour long radio broadcast (in English) from October 30th, 1938
of The Mercury Theatre On The Air's presentation of The War Of The Worlds.
It is directed by and stars Orson Welles.
The War Of The Worlds was written by H.G. Wells and describes a fictional
invasion of the planet Earth by Martians. So skillfully was it performed that
many people who tuned in after the program started when it was originally
broadcast thought that an actual invasion was taking place!
